We will be having a test on Tuesday, 3/18. It will be on Ch. 9. HW, Ch. 9 Part I is due at that time as well.
After the test, we will go over Q10, which will be for Tuesday, 2/25.

We are having the muscle quiz today and Thursday, and next Tuesday... until you pass it. Go ahead and study now and get it over with.
Also, if you have not already done so, you need to sign up for the Chicken Lab which will be held on Thursday March 13.

On Tuesday, we will be finishing up chapter 8. There will be no quiz. We will also be playing a review game. The test will be Thursday 3/6 on the notes from class.

We will be having a quiz on pages 108 and 132 on Thursday. We will also be going over midterm grades. We will finish the rest of Chapter 8, and, if there is time, we will play a review game. Woo hoo!!

We will be playing Bingo to review for the test. Then we will be taking the test for chapter 7. Homework is also do tomorrow, part 1 Chapter 7. We will also go over the quiz for chapter 8. See you there.

There will be a quiz on 2/21 on the skin diagram on p. 95. The quiz will consist of that diagram with no words. There will not be a word bank and spelling does count. See you then.

We will be having a quiz on the Key Terms for chapter 4 on Tuesday. It will be matching. We will be going over the study guide. We will finish up chapter 3 notes. We will start chapter 4 notes. See you in class.

For Thursday 2/7

Thursday we will be having a quiz on the cell structures and their functions based on the table on page 32 in the textbook. We will go over chapter 3 and the first half of the study guide. We may even start chapter 4 notes. During the second hour of class, we will be doing our first lab. If you do not attend class tomorrow, you will be expected to complete a 2 page paper on the disease of your choice. This will be due 2/14. See you tomorrow.

For Tuesday, 2/5/08

Our first test on chapters 1 and 6 will be held on Tuesday, 2/5/08. The homework, chapters 1 and 6, part I, will be due before the test. Make sure that your name is in the front cover, and put the book on my desk on test day. The test will start at 8:45 and 10:45 a.m. You may stay elsewhere until test time. Good luck!

Thursday we are having a quiz on the notes from Tuesdays class on the four types of tissues. Please get a copy of these from one of your classmates. Also, you may want to be working on answering the questions from the studyguide and working on the homework which is Part I of Chapter 1 and 6. Hope to see you in class Thursday. Your first quiz will be on page 9 and will be taken on 1/29/08. It will look just like the text, except there will be no words. Spelling does count. There will be several versions to discourage cheating.

Welcome to Anatomy & Physiology I

This website will allow you to stay on track if you happen to miss class. It will inform you of quizzes and tests and labs. You will be able to get the answers to the study guides, find out what page(s) to study for quizzes, and find out when the labs are and what to do if you miss them. Course Description
General introduction to the human musculoskeletal, cardiovacular, and respiratory systems and their function, with special emphasis on the mechanical and physiological aspects of homeostatis and environmental interaction. Application of physical principles in selected areas of biomechanics, hemodynamics, ergonomics, orthopedics, and robotics.
